How To Write Ads That Make Money
Without Pulling Your Hair Out By The Roots
If you are using UsFreeAds for your Bum Marketing efforts...you can put up a lot of ads quickly...but a lot of your success...how much you sell...is going to be determined by how well you write your ad. (This holds true for most any kind of marketing efforts.)
First let's look at persuasion the Bum Marketers way...very simply...people only do anything for two reasons!

2. To Gain Pleasure
That's it! We are constantly making decisions...and having battles with ourselves over these two things...we run this through our decision making filters hundreds of times a day...and consciously or not...our actions are based on will this decision or action "take away pain" or "move us to pleasure"...or better yet..."both"...
Now...I can almost hear some of you shouting...that CAN'T BE TRUE!...
"How come we overeat?"..."we know it is going to give us pain!"...
Ahhh...yes...but in the "right here and now" it gives us pleasure...doesn't it?
If you really stop and think about this...you will realize that this ole Bum Marketer is right!
So...
What does this have to do with writing ads?
Well...anytime we specifically point out how someone can either 1. Avoid Pain or 2. Gain Pleasure or both...we are persuading with what are called "benefits"...
This seems so simple on the surface...but I would say most so called "sales" advertisements or marketing messages...use very few benefits...or NONE at all...
They are using what are called "features"...and features...do not compell 95% of the population TO DO anything...
Let's use an example...ok?
Let's say we find some low competition keyword phrases for dog training and dog behavior problems...and we find a fantastic book to sell...
So let's look at kind of a "blucky" ad first...and I will keep these short...
Our phrase is "stop dog chewing"

Now...I didn't do any kind of research as to what causes dog owners the most pain when their dog chews up everything...I just did a common sense piece really fast...a little research on what their biggest pains are would go a long way...and can double or triple the effectiveness of your ads.
But...in my experience the second ad is going to cause a lot more clicks to the sales page...IMPORTANT: I LET THE SALES PAGE DO THE SELLING...
My main goal is to PUT THE PROSPECT IN A BUYING FRAME OF MIND...NOT TO TRY AND SELL THEM IN THE AD...
